Planning, prices, payment and aftercare. If yours isn't here, call and ask.
Usually not. A front drive over 5m² only needs permission if the surface is impermeable and drains onto the road. Permeable options such as resin bound, permeable block paving and gravel avoid this.
If you'll drive over a pavement or verge to reach your drive, yes. It's a separate council application with its own fee. We'll advise at the survey and can help you apply.
Yes. We check the falls and where water will go during the survey, and include channel drains or a soakaway in the quote if your drive needs them.
We break it out and take it away. Waste removal is included in every quote.
It depends on size, surface and the groundwork underneath. Rather than guess over the phone, we give you a fixed written price after a free survey.
We never ask for payment before work starts. Materials are paid for on delivery to site, and the balance once you've inspected the finished drive with us.
Yes. The price only changes if you change the design, or we uncover something nobody could see, like a buried old tank. We'd always talk it through with you first.
Block paving and gravel can be driven on the same day. Tarmac needs about 24 hours, resin bound 24 to 48 hours, and imprinted concrete around seven days.
Sweep it regularly, treat weeds early, and avoid turning the steering wheel while stationary on new tarmac in hot weather. We leave a care sheet for your surface.
Our written workmanship guarantee covers sinking, rutting and movement caused by the base or laying. It doesn't cover oil stains or damage from skips and heavy plant.
We'll measure up, talk through surfaces and leave you with a fixed written quote. There's no obligation and nothing to pay up front.
